I don’t know, his eyes give me strong “fanatic” vibes, like he genuinely believes his own bullshit.
Edit: Thinking about it, his facial expressions somewhat remind me of “overly attached girlfriend”, though that was a parody.
Not all consulting firms, Deloitte actually charged the Australian government about $290.000 for a report written by AI.

Europa@feddit.org•Why are Ukrainians in Western Europe still treated as second-class europeans?
2·6 days agoIt’s because extreme right wing politicians have been calling for decades that any foreigner is out to take your belongings and your job. Sure, there was some sympathy when the war started, and in the news there still is. But the right wing just thinks the Ukranian people should cut their losses to end the war so everyone can go home. It doesn’t help that most right wing politicians get payrolled by Russia.
On two wheels, “skiing” like in the movies?

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What have scientists discovered very recently that most people should absolutely know ?
32·8 days agoTo the point that it compares with asbestos, radiation and tobacco.
This is kind of ambiguous; it’s in the IARC group 1, which indeed includes asbestos and radiation. It also includes a lot of other things, like therapeutical hormones, many viruses and bacteria, being a firefighter, leather dust, being a painter, processed meat, wood dust, plutonium, vinyl chloride and outdoor air pollution.
They’re great, but only healty if you eat just a few, there’s a lot of fat in them.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are things to learn and know before getting into vinyl and record players
4·8 days agoI bought a used super-oem player years ago for €100. They’re more for DJ’s I think, but the quality and maintainability is great and spare parts are abundant.
I recommend putting them in vodka overnight.

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK a US passport card costs $30 and is definitive proof of citizenship. It fits in your wallet like a credit card.
32·8 days agoThough I get what you’re saying, someone who had their sex changed on their passport has already decided dealing with the gender dysphoria has priority. It’s not like it’s a quick decision (contrary to popular republican belief), and it’s never been easy to be trans in the society so every trans person will consider if coming out as trans is worth it. A lot of those who do feel it’s either that or death.

11·9 days agoHow about chickens? If you have some hens without a rooster, you’ve got good chance that one of them will “transform” into a rooster. Especially if you had a rooster but it died.

Some examples I’ve seen recently:
