sooo you already know there is misinfo in the article but still call it evidence? I’m open to the whole thing but surely some journalist has looked into this more rigorously?

If someone says there are 300 school shootings a year in the US, saying “uhh well ackshually there are only 260 shootings per year” doesn’t mean that there isn’t a massive, terrifying problem that really needs to be addressed. I actually posted the snopes link now, the bullet ballots for trump are still way more numerous in swing states than they should be

Your school shooting example is horrible. Hardly in the same cathegory as what isdiscussed.

        Also, the Snopes article says:

The difference between the two numbers is 130,313 votes — a count nowhere near the 350,000 votes stated by Spoonamore.

So, it’s less like the difference between 300 and 260, but more like: The guy pulled his numbers out of his ass.

I mean, about half, an exaggeration sure, but like not an absurd one. Like, it’s the with in same order of magnitude.

It’s worth a recount and investigation at least. Even if it doesn’t come to anything, it’s still serious and should be addressed for the sake of reaffirming confidence in the voting system.

Do you know how many single vote ballots are normal for these elections? Because if not, then you gan not make any assumtions about the order of magnitude of the supposed discrepancy.

In any case: even if all these ballots were fake: it wouldn’t change the result, because the difference between Trump’s and Harris’s votes is still higher.

Stop wasting your and everybody else’s time and start organi’ing before Trump’s presidency starts. 🙄

What makes it worth doing isn’t about the results, IMO, but about maintaining a secure election. A risk review - especially by hand - will not only provide an audit that verifies if an issue exists, but will also allow action to be taken to prevent issues in the future should there be any shenanigans.

So if all the ballots were fake, yes, it would be really important to know how. That’s several orders of magnitude larger than any voter fraud I’m aware of.

I do know how many there are and this is animosity high relative to those numbers. Maybe trump supports this time around just didn’t care about down ballot, but it’s worth looking in to.
