why is it that there should be 7 comments but none are displayed? For example it happens to nearly all comments in the foodporn community.

why is it that there should be 7 comments but none are displayed? For example it happens to nearly all comments in the foodporn community.
Banned users and stuff are not excluded from the comment count afaik. Otherwise federation issues maybe?
