You confuse them with US Americans.
Liberal Americans tend to be held back with racism. They only show it in subtle racist double standards.
In Germany being a Liberal means you want free healthcare but you also really hate brown people.

I know about Germans from a bunch of people on Lemmy who said racist stuff and they all prefaced it by saying they were German.
