        also a huge risk sacrifice: it’s the only flight worthy space shuttle and is where it is so that it can be used for study in the future: there is no replacement, and would need to be torn apart and reassembled (destroying parts) to be moved

            not sure: i know that the one in the smithsonian is unique in that it’s complete for future research… perhaps they grabbed engines from the others, and kept this single 1 in tact
