    I was an IT contractor for years and learned that trade in the late '90s, when my peer group, okay I, was reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad and thought the way to success led towards cushy office-jobs and public-speaking.

    Even then, I prefered hardware and leisure/family-time.

    EDIT: Seriously though, SIM/factory games. Sooo many video games.
