Brazil’s labor court has ordered Volkswagen to pay about $30 million for collective moral damages. This decision Friday follows revelations that workers faced slave-like conditions at a company-owned farm in the Amazon during the 1970s and 1980s.

That’s surely gonna hurt them, given their EUR 324.7 billion sales revenue in FY 2024.
