I’m this way too. I have very limited free time, but I also can’t stand hype. Nothing ever really lives up to it, so I prefer to check things out after the buzz has died down
That’s not what I meant, though. If it’s popular I’ll never care, I’m not gonna wait til people have moved on amd then check out, I’m just not interested in many popular things.
I have a (snobbish?) variant of this: If things are super popular I’m not really interested in it (Harry Potter, GoT, etc.).
