TBF accounts coming from “Nigeria” and “Bangladesh” are probably not actually foreigners sitting there and writing english messages on social media one-by-one. It’s either bots behind VPNs, or people behind VPNs. And they could absolutely be within the US.
Twitter flags if you’re behind a VPN with an exclamation and lets everybody know. I mean yeah it might be possible for some VPNs to stealth around that but not all of them can do it successfully. Common VPN IP ranges are well known and can relatively easily be filtered.
