Fantasy that is secretly sci-fi. I just love that. I know of course The Book of the New Sun, Pern, Lord of Light and Shannara. My favorite entry in this genre so far is the Steerswoman series.
The general Brandon Sanderson Cosmere started very fantasy and is moving more towards sci fi as time goes on. It’s a big commitment but worth it imo
