I’m personally all for letting people decide if they should vote, but it’s entirely Biden’s fault that people don’t want to vote for him.

My man won’t even defend abortion without mincing words.

Libs have really been taking sick pleasure lately in the idea that the ungrateful will be punished by their enemies. This cycle has really brought the goodcop/badcop routine into stark relief.

I’m not sure I had the correct read on the situation, but I felt like punishing the ungrateful working class people was why Sinema seemed so exuberant when voting against a minimum wage increase. At the time, the narrative I was getting from the liberals around me (drunk on CNN and msnbc bullshit) was that Trump was president because of a mixture of Russian intrigue and the inherent stupidity of people that are also poor. As usual, there was no class based analysis, no recognition that lots of poor people don’t even vote, and definitely no distinction between rural working people and petty bourgeois tyrants using working class aesthetics. These liberals somehow came away with the idea that American politics are actually controlled by people living in collapsing trailers, so punishing them by withholding a higher minimum wage was a good thing to do.

American Liberals seem to hold pretty much everyone in that same regard because almost everyone is an enemy in potential. With Liberalism imploding away, Liberals hold that both leftists and republicans should die for ‘voting against their interests’. An actual fascist demanding mass murder is in that sense not at all different from a socialist who demands that the right to abortion be codified in law - because the corollary there is that once the Liberal Party refuses to do so it must be punished.

This leftist belief is in accordance to what Liberals ostensibly want and believe in, both in the sense of wanting abortion codified and trust in representative democracy. So the only way for Liberals to square that hole is to twist everything into itself. It’s not that Biden is a genocidal maniac who was once one of the people in charge of a Liberal Supermajority that did absolutely nothing. It’s that the political opponents of the Liberal Party are too dumb to understand politics.

The “voting against their own interests” line is so bankrupt. They’re currently arguing people should vote for the dude supporting a genocide on their families.

…and regularly get persuaded by pundits not to pick a candidate who aligns with their ideals because that “wouldn’t have broad appeal.”

Imagine thinking that Trump will bring about this dystopia if he’s elected, and the only thing you’re doing to stop it is browbeating progressive voters. If libs actually believed this shit they would be organizing in paramilitary groups, not posting memes

Too many of them are focused on restricting access to firearms, a lot of the areas with loads of libs also have an AWB. Honestly though, we might need some paramilitary groups of our own.

Liberals: pls use the imperial presidency to ensure federal protections over abortion access

Catholic Joe: biden-troll actually threatens to use imperial presidency to shut down the border because republicans won’t enact his refugee policy that’s somehow worse than Trump’s

The 14 billion to Israel is going through. 99% of both parties support it. The only question is whether it will be standalone or bundled with Ukraine money to try and force GOP house into folding.

Turn out libs really did mean what they said. They don’t want to see kids in cages. They know they are still in there, they are not being manipulated, they are just on the same wavelength as the media that it is distasteful to bring it up now

This movie really is absurd. Whole franchise is really just liberal panic that has little basis in reality

Also imagine seriously thinking this dystopia is right around the corner and not violently opposing it

Imagine thinking we’re not already there. What, does it only become dystopian when we don anachronistic 19th century costumes? People are already being jailed for miscarraiges, the chuds are instructing state national guard formations to disobey the federal government and Joseph Robinette Buchanan isn’t doing anything about it.

That’s the point of fiction though, it acts as a sort of ‘mirror’ which makes things more evident than they would be if you they were just shown as they are. It’s always a critique about the world we live in, not of a vague possible reality.

    Hey check this out.

It’s actually bidens responsibility to not objectively suck ass and not voters responsibility to vote for a candidate no matter how many times the candidate explicitly says they won’t do what the voter wants.

Exactly. If they’re going to get angry at anyone, they should get angry at Biden. What has he done to earn people’s votes?

Lmao also great election strategy to reduce the critiques people have of your candidate to “he’s kinda old I dunno”. I’m sure that if they shut their ears and go “lala I can’t hear you” then people will definitely vote for them.

Also if you really do believe that Trump will bring about this future, why are you not doing anything other than smugposting about imaginary leftists?

This mindset disgusts me. Biden needs to be held accountable for his failures. Him not stepping down is entirely his own doing, and no is obligated to support him. IF he’s truly not competent, then invoke the 25th–Get him out of there. Kamala will be entirely ineffective and get trounced in 2024, so she won’t be the candidate, probably best scenario within the realm of possibility.
