    HDMI 1.4 has a less than half the bitrate of the oldest DisplayPort standard. And regarding the newer HDMI standard: read the article. The forum are being jerks…

        Haha, seems I forgot a version in-between. But it’s not a game changer. It includes an increase in data rate, however. Not enough to get close to DP, but I missed that as my hardware is kinda old.
