So what’re we thinking about these hostages anyway? Are they even still alive? Where could they possibly be kept safe from all the bombing? And how are they getting food and medical care when these things are being withheld from everyone in the area?
At some point it’ll be impossible to comply with the demand to release hostages because Israel will have killed them all. Presumably some have already died. Do they go on the list of deaths recorded by the “Hamas run” hospitals?
For all Israel makes of “human shields” (an evil line if argumentation on so many levels) very weird for these hostages not to be deployed 1 or 2 each to places Israel is bombing to make them stop.
I wonder if Israel would even act on intelligence about where they are by targeting them to make it even harder for Gaza to surrender if they wanted to. Make it like the situation of US POWs in Vietnam.
If it is announced that the hostages are dead, Israel will say Hamas killed all of them and throw it on the pile of rhetoric for further decimating all of Gaza.
