Are they? I pay $25/month for unlimited data here in the US with Visible.

I think it’s available in Canada with their premium version for $35/month.

      Yeah, they’re getting scammed. Hard.

Data caps are the biggest joke in the first world. Can’t believe so many people have them.

There are options in Canada for cheaper phone plans. When I moved to Lum Mobile there was a promo that gave me 25gb of data for free, and data on Lum never expires. Since I am basically always somewhere with wifi, I bought a data I can pay $180 CAD to Lum for my phone for the year. I used a little over 1gb last year.

        That’s $10.89 American a month.

I’ll switch to Lum as soon as I learn that they support WiFi calling on Android. We have no cell service, but do have Starlink internet.

Robbed implies illegal, which it’s unfortunately not. It’s a matter of government not allowing healthy competition because politicians have their campaigns legally funded by scumbags.

And yes it should be illegal but…

Depends on the deals you can get. I’m currently getting 120gb/month for $55. Sure not great when compared to a lot of other companies but definitely a lot better than many of the advertised prices.
