Israel carried out at least eight strikes on humanitarian convoys and their facilities in Gaza since the war began, according to a report by Human Rights Watch.

So my guess is the drone or rocket operators that Isreal employs are just sitting at their monitors all day, bored as fuck because unarmed Palestinians are walking across the screen they’re watching, and then a truck rolls by. Doesn’t matter if its food, aid or any normal purpose vehicle. It doesn’t look right so these lunkheads just go nuts and hit buttons.

Because clearly no one but me can disagree with the official social media narrative and only those paid to do so could possibly disagree? 😆

Sorry to inform you that many people disagree and reality sometimes conflicts with your preconceptions.

When Israel violates international law so often that they make up a large percentage of crimes against humanity the only reasonable conclusion we can draw is that Human Rights Watch is anti semitic.

Your whole comment was an attempt at derailing the conversation. The article is about people being KILLED, its completely irrelevant whether those people had anti Israel bias or not. At this point anyone who isnt critical of Israels actions is just blind and deaf to reality. Being biased against Israel is not a crime worth death, its the natural position for anyone with the tiniest bit of empathy in them.

I insulted you not because i didnt like your argument, but because you didnt even make an argument relevant to the post in the first place.

No, my comment was providing more context, by pointing out that HRC, rhe source being cited by this BBC article, is not an unbiased source when it comes to matters regarding Israel, as detailed in the link I provided.

It is highly relevant and not derailing at all, you just appear to hate on anyone who refutes your narrative.

Casualties due to collateral damage and fog of war are quite normal in war, but HRC holds Israel to a different standard than every other Nation, is far more critical of Israel, and takes a lot of money from Qatar and sources that are very anti-israel.

They are not a good source for information regarding this conflict unless you want your anti-israel preconceptions catered to, which it seems you do.

UNRWA is apparently an aid group. They’re also quite clearly terrorists. They even house terrorists in their official facilities can’t provide them with the electricity they need.

Sadly, as long as Hamas continues to embed themselves within the civilian population, this will continue to happen. It’s not acceptable but it’s a sad reality of war. The fastest way to stop this is to release the hostages.

Yes, Israel made that accusation 3 months ago and then failed to provide any single shred of evidence of that to this day. Accusation is useless without proof. I can say “you are x and x and x” but without any proof, that doesn’t make it true…

The fastest way to stop this is to release the hostages.

Clearly you are misinformed. Hamas agreed to release the hostages as part of the last ceasefire agreement they signed and Israel rejected.

And the war criminal Netanyahu doesn’t give a shit about hostages. Gaza: Israeli PM Netanyahu says Rafah attack will happen regardless of deal

And yet yesterday we have clear video released showing armed Hamas fighters headbands and all. Getting in and out of UNRWA vehicles just outside the Rafah gate.

You’ve got the agency acknowledging that they were supplying Hamas with power underneath their headquarters, yet somehow we’re supposed to believe they weren’t aware.

Got thousands of pages of documents linking employees of the agency to Hamas.

And yet when the UN investigates itself it finds nothing wrong. Even while we’re seeing them covertly revise the mortality numbers and cutting the number of children dead in half. So what are we supposed to believe? Because they’ve certainly undermined any credibility that they could possibly have on this file with their public statements and actions.

When you don’t believe what you see with your own eyes, It’s because your bias is stronger than your ability to reason.

Edit. Hamas agreed to release bodies when they couldn’t come up with the number of hostages that they said they could. They’ve admitted they can’t turn over the number of live hostages to fulfill their end of the bargain. So how is that Israel’s fault? Hostages in exchange for truce is the deal, The only one misinformed here is you on a number of levels and it appears that you need to step outside your Echo chamber.

Can you source any of your claims?

And yet when the UN investigates itself it finds nothing wrong.

And you clearly don’t understand what the word independent means. Please read the sources cited before misstating facts.

Hamas agreed to release bodies when they couldn’t come up with the number of hostages that they said they could.

Have you read the three-phase ceasefire deal? Phase 1 guaranteed all civilian hostages release/bodies return. Phase 2 guaranteed all military hostages release/bodies return. And phase 3 mentioned exchange of any other bodies that each of them had.

And the hostages became bodies because of Israel actions and not Hamas. Israel’s indiscriminate killing is why bodies instead of alive hostages are being returned.

Was the video independently verified? Or did Israel say it’s true, so it’s must be true? The fact that major corporate news networks didn’t post the video, doesn’t inspire confidence in the video validity. They are usually the first ones to suck up to Israel.

UNRWA said they are examining video authenticity.

You also failed to provide sources for your other claims. I’m still waiting. Prove your point is valid and that my “bias is stronger than your ability to reason”.

Well they paid the power bill for Hamas for starters. Anyone who believes they weren’t aware of what’s underneath their hq is not worth engaging in discussing with frankly.

There’s video that just came out yesterday showing Hamas fully armed and in regalia using un vehicles at the Rafa gate. There’s also 3,000 pages of emails, text messages and employee files that link thousands of unreal officials.

There’s reams of proof out there. You just need to get out of your Echo chamber.

The guiding idea behind “Innocent Until Proven Guilty” is that it’s better to let a guilty person go free than it is to unjustly punish an innocent person.

It’s depressing how quickly some of you have abandoned that basic principle.

Instead you are happy to punish the innocent civilians of Gaza, half of whom are children, even to the point of literally starving them to death.

This isn’t a court of law. This is a war, a war that was started by Hamas. Hamas who uses women and children as human Shields.

Not to mention that the propaganda claiming how many women and children have been killed has now been revised to half the original number.

No one is happy with what’s happening here. What would make me happy is for the hostages to be released and for Hamas to stop terrorizing the Palestinian people.

Pretty sure it started in 48 when five Arab Nations attacked the fledgling nation of Israel… They lost them, preventing them from developing their pan arabian caliphate and they simply have not gotten over it since.

The simple fact that Israel exists and Jews control their own destiny completely surrounded by islamists and those who openly call for their death is something that they’re just unwilling to accept.

What would make me happy would be for the hostilities to cease, the civilians to all be safe and properly fed and housed (no matter what their race or religion), and for the belligerants to find themselves looking down the barrel of a war crimes tribunal.

So I think there’s stuff you and I do have in common, we just have very different expectations around international law and the rules of war. I find your opinions on war crimes quite horrible but I appreciate our underlying common humanity.

I feel like you are very likely from a western society. And what I’ve noticed since this conflict has broken openly, is there is a serious disconnect between those of us who are rooted in the middle East and those who are not.

When you live next to someone who has spent over 1,000 years trying to exterminate you and you now have a safe harbor that you can defend yourself from, then you meet fire with fire. Israel is quite clearly taking more steps than any Nation has ever taken in an urban combat situation to avoid civilian casualties. They’re not Lily white in this. Nobody fighting a war could possibly be, but to try and claim that they’re even close to being on the level of the people who tore babies out of their cribs and slaughtered them completely misrepresents the reality on the ground.

The white Western Savior along the lines of what Martin Luther King identified 50 years ago doesn’t have a fucking clue what they’re looking at or talking about when it comes to the theater of war that we are witnessing in the middle East. You can’t humanely fight against the monsters that comprise hamas. As sad as that is for humans to have to accept in order to save their own lives.

No, the West are way more understanding of this genocide than most non-Western countries.

The two biggest legal challenges have come from South Africa and Nicaragua.

The African Union as a whole is pretty opposed to it and thus the African continent could be a source of peacekeepers if the US ever stops blocking the UN.

Meanwhile the US role has been such that there’s talk of this eroding US soft power outside the West, particularly in ASEAN countries.
