The rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs admitted in a video apology that he punched and kicked his ex-girlfriend in 2016 in the hallway of a hotel after CNN released footage of the attack, saying he was “truly sorry” and his actions were “inexcusable”.

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now,” he said in the video statement, posted Sunday on Instagram and Facebook.

He denied the allegations in the lawsuits and was not detained in the raid or named as the target of the investigation, adding at the time that he cooperated with authorities and that there was no finding of criminal or civil liability, calling the investigation a “witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits”. But neither he nor his representatives had responded to the newly emerged video until Sunday.

“I’m sorry for everything. I’m sorry it was recorded on video, I’m sorry I got caught.”

    Except he didn’t…

He paid a settlement the next day, if he had taken responsibility he’d have turned himself into the cops and not made his victim sign an NDA…

And then, while she legally couldn’t say anything about it, he said he didn’t do it, that she just wanted a paycheck, and he only settled so he could move past it. He did the opposite of taking responsibility for it until we saw the video. Now he feels badly about it.

I bet he gets the chris brown treatment.

I’ve been separating Chris Brown’s music from his personality for a long time. I hated his music long before I know how terrible his personality is.

If you truly do separate the art from the artist there’s no need to defend the artist.
I sometimes listen to a few black metal albums made by completely insane people, but I’d never defend their actions; quite the opposite.

Yeah it’s real real easy to find amazing black metal then find out that half the band are pretty much actually evil
