The first concrete indications of an chip overhaul after four Google Tensor generations have been discovered in an import/export database, but this will only come with the successor to the Pixel 9 in 2025. It is said to have nothing in common with Samsung's Exynos chipsets and will no longer be produced by Samsung, which has now been proven.

    What modem? Surely Google hasn’t built one and the modem is one of the most crucial components that puts Qualcomm’s SoCs a level above everyone else’s in efficiency. It’ll be interesting to see if they’ve licensed QC or still use Samsung’s. Or someone else’s.

      The modem, plus the GPU in Qualcomm chips. Android gaming on non snapdragon chips is far behind.
