I was gonna say it would be hilarious if everyone’s cheering for rich people to die in failing spaceship experiments only to then have a major catastrophe that requires us all to leave earth, but then I realized almost immediately that even if they succeed they’re not taking us with them; maybe just some people to effectively be their slave labor but they’re not taking the rest of us.
