Not really when the character is super stupidly mainstream, and has had two (with a third getting some serious hype on the way) feature films where they say his name constantly?
As a kid growing up with deadpool comics, that is still a bit of a trip. Of all the Marvel characters that they could make movies off of, I would have put Deadpool near the bottom. I’ll never get used to Deadpool being mainstream.
I’m not sure a major blockbuster starring Ryan Reynolds counts as a deep cut.
I think the deep cut is knowing Deadpool’s name is Wade Wilson. :)
