Found $500 that way last year. Windy afternoon, blew into the parking lot from the main road. My thought of “holy shit, cool!” was tempered by the next thought of “this is gonna suck for whoever dropped it”.
Yep, it sure does. On a windy day pre-teen me dropped my open purse full of babysitting money on my way to buy ski pants. As I was crying and trying to pick it up, some people stopped by. Some kept the money and took off and some gave it back to me. Wound up with just enough to buy some gators instead.
Last winter, a 20$ blew right by me in the wind and I caught it.
That’s Disney princess level right there.
It was as I was walking to the library to pay off a 10-year old late fee, no less!
The universe wanted to support the library. I love it.
