SquareEnix, all the millennials already blew their 90s nostalgia loads with the first game after you edged them for like 15 years while you waffled with the remake. Then you decided to turn the game into a trilogy that would take another 10 years to complete. A lot of those millennials are gonna be dead from repeated exposure to covid by the time the last game comes out

      THANK YOU.

Also, why the fuck did they change the story? Literally no one wanted to wait half their lives for some different game.

I bought a PS4 just for this game and then I found out that not only is it going to be a trilogy that will require me to buy another console to play but it’s also not the game I wanted!

      FF7 classic remains the GOAT.

i dont even mind that they changed it up, but was SO dissapointed when i found out they were going to milk it for a decade and a half.

maybe ill play it when all 3 are available on the high seas, maybe a few years from now.

I’m going to see a concert next week of it because I naively thought it would be out on PC by now. So going to see a bunch of out of context spoilers and I’m starting to just give up on Squenix. Like the hype is dead for me and whenever they get around to it I’ll just wait until the 3rd part 5, 10, 20 years from now and be like “oh they finally got around to it. That’s nice.” If I’m still around that is. Uematsu isn’t going to be around forever and they keep dragging it.

I think it is their management. The NFT push was stupid as all hell and instead of making trends like they used to they are chasing it.
