i wonder how many of them would try to stage a propaganda dance revue as a publicity stunt, and how far that would go without CIA funding

have you considered that those handful of pervy men who actually enjoyed that body horror fetish actually got off so hard and got so much pleasure from it, that it outweighs any potential harms that the women who had their feet bound might conceivably have experienced?

Met a kid a couple weeks ago who got accepted into uni here in China. When he went to get his visa, there were FLG cultists camped near one of the consulates in Ireland saying Tai Chi is illegal and they’ll grab you off the street for your organs.

He was extremely offline so he just thought they were kooks or doing a bit or something. No idea who they or Shen Yun are, largely heard negative things about China but didn’t really believe any of it.

Anyway, after a couple years he realized how unhinged the statements were

I love the idea of somebody thinking Tai Chi of all things is illegal in China. Like bruv what the hell do you think is the main activity for grandmas in China?? Go to any public park, you’ll see like five groups of tai chi going on.

Going to that shit is like a hundred bucks, I was kinda thinking about going as a joke but not if I have to pay for the pleasure of getting fascist propaganda in ballet form
