put all of your election posting here so it doesn’t bother anyone else!
from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:
For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.
I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.
No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!
If Kamala loses, I actually don’t think them blaming the left is gonna work. She went so unabashedly hard right in the campaign, and she was doing so well when she let Walz do his thing. Then she inexplicably made Liz Cheney her de facto VP and started talking like an open fascist.
I don’t know if we can pin it all on Gaza, but I do think the only conclusion anyone will be able to come to is campaigning to the right of Biden was terrible.
I think the Waltz doing well thing is overrated. Yes he had a few good jokes, but the VP debate against Vance was the tipping point for the Harris campaign, it’s when they started going down in the polls. Waltz blew it badly.
Do you think anyone remembered all his actions against BLM back in '20? It was kind of shocking that they picked him after that but I guess they were going for the same thing they did with Obama and Biden, having a vicious older white racist in the VP to ensure that the Black POTUS candidate was okay.
It’s been real confusing when people say she’s running to the left of biden. Or Obama! Or Clinton! Like by sibling in hellworld she isn’t meaningfully to the right of Rothbard here.
Left
They’re totally going to though.
Yeah, they’re going to tie themselves to the racism trolly with iron chains.
They’re going to blame it on her being a minority woman I bet.
