      I guess prepare to have your organs tapped by the switch blade of tyranny.

      But mainly it’s about the oppression of the minority by the majority.

        We’re supposed to learn that from almost every election in the last couple of years. I mean specifically what’s the message of this comic strip.

          The message of the comic strip is that democracy doesn’t guarantee the best results.

          Even if I don’t vote to kill me, everyone else can vote to kill me.

          FWIW, this comic vastly predates the last couple of years - it was published in the 1997-2002 range.
