EDIT: Looks like he just stopped coming up with alt text for the older comics after this. All of the old comics I checked after this have an alt text of just the date up through https://www.smbc-comics.com/comic/2015-03-03, which is the last one that’s titled by day as well. I might just stop posting the alt text for these comics. Also it’s the title attribute, not the alt attribute, but now it’s too much work to go back and change all of the old posts. Oh well.
