Unless ARM or x86 goes open, RISC-V will go mainstream.
Someone just has to make a smartphone tier SoC that undercuts ARM at similar speeds
Topple, no. Become extremely wide spread, yes.
With all the licensing and royalty fees i doubt that big players like broadcom and apple have no work group in the background working slowly on RISCV.
