Every time I think I can’t love Zach Weinersmith any more, he goes and makes a comic like this

Try to imagine, nothing. Absolute nothing . You ll probably start picturing an empty universe, infinite space with no object or matter, but that still is something. Space even when empty has dimensions infinitely large and everywhere. An infinitly large void is still something. You need to remove it for having nothing, but what do you remove it from? I sometimes try to picture absolute nothing and come to the conclusion that it just cannot be.

You can’t observe nothing because observation requires an observer, if there is an observer by definition there’s not nothing.

Close one of your eyes. What you see through that closed eye is “nothing” since it’s not just blackness, but something entirely nonexistent.

        Ah, my eyelids are “nothing”.

A blind person has a better grasp of nothing.

I’ve heard stories of truly blind people getting these visions of vivid colors

I don’t remember where I read it so I’m not a reliable source but their minds made something

Close just one eye and you’ll not even see your eyelid. You can test it by turning on your phone’s flashlight, closing your eyes, pointing it to one of them, and opening the other.

Tested with an additional barrier between the eyes, I can still see the light. And by looking in the direction of the closed eye I can even see the red of the eyelid.

Your brain may helpfully filter out the closed eye but you can still trick it to drop the filter.
