Gotcha. Google keyboard has the ability to add multiple languages at the same time (I use it myself). Maybe that will fix your issue: hold the “,” -> swipe to the settings icon -> add keyboard -> … -> enable multilingual typing for both languages

Yes, it’s the stupid Google Keyboard, and I’m too lazy to correct it every time
