I think my favorite part of health insurance companies is how they deny the procedures and medicines that my doctor prescribes to me in order to increase their shareholder revenue. I just really enjoy that aspect of insurance companies so much!
Before health insurance denials, people were getting so much medical care that they just didn’t need. It was an atrocity. You don’t want your parents and grandparents to be getting medical care, trust me. It isn’t necessary.
Imagine they get all the procedures their “doctor” says they “need”. All of a sudden you have them around for, what, ten? Maybe fifteen more years? That’s just a bummer for everyone involved
