Well, I’ve closed the windows, turned off the lights and locked the door over at r/askelectronics (sub is now private). Let’s see how this unfolds…

    Hi!

Are you planning to keep the same rules as the old reddit sub? Or will this be more casual for a while?

Hey, I haven’t been on Ask Electronics on Reddit but the topic sounds interesting. Could you tell me a bit more about the kind of questions that would be OK to ask or what this specifically should be about?

Oh wow, I didn’t know that and certainly almost nothing about those kind of things in general. Guess I’ll be more of a lurker then and excited to see what you guys have to discuss.

Took several tries to connect to this place from my lemm.ee account, but I’m here now.

👍 for closing the subreddit. I’ve been trying to stop using reddit in general anyway, so happy to move over here if people stay.

    Well, hello there.

I guess I’ll get back to my breadboard while we wait and see what happens next…

Wow I was just given access. Finally rid of the old site, looking forward to learning how this works
