I know Balders Gate 3 is great and all, but it doesn’t capture this kind of nonsense that makes DnD awesome.
I’ve been enjoying it, but yeah… I was hoping for more shenanigans if you crit (fail or succeed). I got a crit success early on and really wished it would have had more of an effect than just, “you passed your check”.
You get some bonuses from critical successes in dialogue, usually there’s something extra to be revealed
I think Solasta felt more like a D&D campaign than BG3 to me.
I wouldn’t say it’s better than BG3, but I liked you played more as a party instead of a protagonist with companions.
Neither of those are gonna offer as much shenanigans and nonsense than a table can (or vtt).
As an intellectual wizard I’m of the opinion most fighters shouldn’t be reproducing anyway.
That’s an int check btw
Pointing the device in the correct direction is intelligence. Not shoving the device between his own legs would have been wisdom.
True, but I meant figuring out what unknown tech does is an int check!
He not holding the clutch, so it’s probably ok. Maybe.
The clutch!?!?! You need to look at some chainsaw anatomy bud. 🤣 The centrifugal clutch on a chainsaw is under a panel on the side. You don’t touch the clutch ever, at least not when the saw is running.
Almost every single chainsaw I’ve ever used the chain will free spin at start. Unless you have the chain lock engaged.
He doesn’t have a hand on the trigger, but it doesn’t really matter with “ol buzzy” when she first fires up.
Last time I touched a clutch was on a mini bike and it ate my shoe up a little bit.
The safety seems pretty close to the handle, I don’t think that chainsaw is locked! Not as if it would start with the lock engaged anyway…
I was talking about the trigger, I guess I was thinking about it like a clutch pedal in a car. But, the point was that chainsaws don’t normally free spin with enough torque to cause too much damage, and he isn’t hanging onto anything that would cause him to rev it.
I was just razzing ya.
I will say I have a Poulan, and a Stihl, that BOTH go at like half throttle when you use the choke on a cold start. I would NOT put my testicles anywhere near it. You Have to squeeze the trigger once then it will go back to an idle and the chain doesn’t “free spin” anymore.
I’ve also seen a loose chain pick up enough momentum that it cut right through my coworker’s chaps. This is why you should always put the brake on if it’s running but you’re not actively cutting.
It’s funny as shit watching someone have to clean the remains of their chaps outta the chain, and clutch though.
I didnt understood shit from the text, i just thought the image was funny.
Same here 😂 the text adds nothing, this post would have been better with the image alone.
