I’ve read that too, but they can’t possibly ban lemmy.ml
lemmy.world hasn’t banned lemmygrad either but I wouldn’t place my hopes on that. Still, it’ll impossible to stop federating with them, you’d just be cutting off large numbers of people over some comments you can’t even see anyway.
Would lemmy.ml ever cut federation with lemmygrad? I feel like your average reddit refugee just joins lemmy.ml and calls it good. Plus the devs seem against segregating lemmygrad.
I don’t see this as being a bad thing. No sure could survive the massive influx of liberals that other sites are. Let these waves swamp over and when it dies down we’ll still have a culture here.
There’s a very conscious effort from the radlib cliques to close off lemmygrad
Yeah, I hear talk of a lot of instances wanting to block any instance that federates with lemmygrad.

I doubt it. The lemmy maintainers are MLs themselves. Hell, there are libs spreading FUD because the devs are le redfash tankies.
@yang_wenli @GarbageShootAlt I thought lemmy.ml was also marxist Leninist, isn’t what the .ml stands for?
I believe .ml is just the domain name. Apparently Mali?
