Star wars meme: Mon Mothma (Mastodon) stands before 5 other men/admirals (Writefreely, Lemmy, Peertube, Pixelfed, Friendica). She says: “The emperor has made a critical error and the time for our attack has come.”

I searched for the post url on my instance. One of our actions fixed it, it shows up now.

    Not your fault, and thanks.

Awesome! Somehow, I love the quirkiness of federated platforms. Kind of gives it character. 😆

It just stresses me out hah. Last week I needed something from people on 2 other instances and my post wouldn’t show up for them, except for a short window when our server was upgraded. Then everyone was like “I can see your post!” for an hour or so and then poof gone again.

If you’re up to playing, would you try deleting the swmemes post and reposting again? I wanna see what happens and if it works, we’ll at least have a new meme other than fucking beans…

Sure! I just deleted it on my end. Post still seems to be on lemmy.world. I’ll wait a little and see if the deletion gets federated and then repost.

Done. Seems like it worked fine. I can see it on lemmy.world.

Totally! And as usual in IT: “It works now, don’t touch it. Who brakes it has to fix it again!”
