If I put my hands on the guy who is responsible for this! Believe me, I’ll have a nice strong argument with him. Preferably late tonight.

I’m more a “curse the morning people who run my university that ignore staff and student demands to stop 9am lectures” kind of guy.

It’s a little long winded for 8am so I usually settle with “feckin’ dawnies”.

9? It would be perfect. Here lessons start at 7. And to take the train I need to wake up at ~5:30. I’m literally the first to fall asleep in my family. I need to. My body demands 8 hours of sleep. Less and I’m in power save mode the whole day. And as soon as I hit 8 hours ±10 minutes, I wake up, no chance of going back to sleep.

Yeah me too but the only other option I have is to go to bed early and wake up well rested at 1am so idk I prefer going to bed late

Things that have helped me with this are (a) having all sources of evening light be dimmable, preferably automatically, (b) having learnt that a certain feeling of sleepiness actually means that I’m actually entering the “too late zone”, © having a whiteboard where I note down the time I go to sleep and the time I get up.
