Even after all these years of Trump, there’s a part of my brain that refuses to accept that his tweets are real. They read like a middle schooler wrote them. It’s like stream of consciousness combined with illiteracy. It’s genuinely insane that the president can get away with communicating like that about very serious topics. How can anyone take him seriously?

Yeah, he wanted the best for the country, and when he saw proof, he accepted it.

True, but also because the proof was being illegally broadcasted to the public. They didn’t just take him on a tour of the farm and say “look, crops.” He tried to have Sure, Not killed and only stopped when he and the public saw the truth.

Because he controls the US government FFS. If you aren’t taking him seriously at this point then you’re part of the problem.

Always stuns me that people can see a post like that and think Trump wrote it. They think his dementia has somehow improved his writing?!

I’m no expert, but it’s damned obvious which posts he wrote with his own fingers vs. a staffer imitating him.

Exactly. If the post has complete and coherent sentences, Trump absolutely didn’t write it himself.

I think we’re going to test ABC out on this. Let’s see how we do. Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars. This one sounds even more lucrative.

He just keeps admitting to his own corruption, and none of his base even notices.

Technically he’s only threatening to punish them for breaking the law. If they ponied up before, it’s because they knew they were breaking the law. And all of the big players always break the law, it’s just a power and influence game to see how much it will cost them.

Ummm, no. He’s threatening them with another lawsuit, knowing that they’ll settle again. This is extortion…not law enforcement.

Threatening Disney seems to be easier than releasing the Epstein files.

Well of course. The Supreme Court gave him carte blanche to do whatever he wants as President, including extortion clearly.

The Epstein Files make him look bad, with proof that he had told his own base to trust for years never expecting it to get anywhere near a possibility.

If we ever get a non-fascist administration again (big “if” I know), I’m very curious to see how the Tribunal of Six will react to that President giving them all high velocity lead poisoning for their role in allowing such rampant and overt destruction of the country’s bedrock institutions to occur. If the president has plenary power, let’s go fucking whole hog on that on the flip side. Play the game as the rules are laid out. See what happens. It can’t be worse than the trajectory we’re on now - I’m entirely serious when I say that.
