Just wondering if anyone uses an app for ChatGPT.

Yeah, the fact that perplexity doesn’t require your phone number is pretty nice But OP said “chat gpt apps”, wouldn’t that mean like, those client apps for chatGPT?
Perplexity uses ChatGPT, but I trust it a bit more because it cites its sources. So I’d say it counts since the model is GPT-3 and GPT-4.
Hmm, yeah makes sense, i like the source showing to
Doesn’t it only use chatGPT when you enable that “copilot” feature?
From the article I had read in Perplexity, it was all built around OpenAI, so I’d assume the regular search is GPT-3 or GPT-3.5, and copilot is GPT-4.
Either the chatgpt website on desktop, or the official chatgpt iOS app
I don’t use it at all. Overhyped toy IMHO.
I just have a shortcut on my homescreen to the site. It’s such a simple interface, why would it need an app?
I like https://github.com/aandrew-me/tgpt , no api key needed, but it’s chatgpt 3.5
I wouldn’t normally promote bing but I’ve been playing around with the bing iOS app that has chat gpt 4 in it. It’s pretty amazing.
Microsoft’s Bing App has ChatGPT built in. I don’t know if it’s the best, but it works.
There is an opensource Alternative i like called huggingface : https://huggingface.co/chat/ https://github.com/huggingface . You can even try different models and languages.
