This was our first peek at Marquez’ form on the factory Ducati. If I’m being honest I expected his results to be a bit hit-or-miss, even on the factory bike. But he impressed here, and obviously continued to do so later in the year.
The brothers are quite good.
Maverick had his customary once a year insane drive in Qatar. Shame the tyre pressure penalty screwed his result
I can’t wait to see how Maverick and Jorge Lorenzo’s partnership goes. Most people think it’ll end in a fiery argument but I really hope it doesn’t, and Jorge can somehow unlock Maverick and we’ll see him fighting for the title next year.
