OTOH, this holiday is increasingly becoming one of the only times all of my family can get together. My family is aging out, and again, this is really the only time I can see my loved o ea. This holiday is also one of the only sanctioned holiday days off work I get during a year and is the ONLY day I am guaranteed not to get called in for emergency stuff. I put in thirteen hours Thanksgiving this year.
So, celebrate it. Or fucking don’t. But telling others how they should spend their holidays is trashy no matter what your politics are.
