      I too wish they were bluer. But it appears the grey matches the rocks sticking out of the snow, and I think with climate change that’s going to be even more important for them.

    I just figured they changed with the seasons like the arctic hares and owls and such. 🤷🏼‍♂️

        Hey now. It’s tough AF, surviving in those conditions, much less propagating a nigh-extremophile species. I’m sure they change all they need to, and far more than most others in easier climes are expected to. 🥹🖖🏼
