Instead of blasting them why not throw them in jail?

Hell, I’d be happy if we disbarred them. That, at least, is something we have proven to (occasionally) be willing to try.

Unless they’re charged with perjury, this is just another example of the failure of the justice system.

    Fourth box.

Perjury and jail time. So far there has been zero actually consequences.

Charges first, then trial, then verdict, then sentencing.

Unfortunately, the snail’s pace of the justice system is its Achilles’ Heel. The fascists are using that slowness to do anything they want right now, and push off consequences as long as possible. Lather, rinse, repeat.

So, to correct my previous comment, even if they’re charged with perjury, the justice system has failed.

        Fourth box.

The wheels of justice turn slowly, but they grind incredibly fine.

So far, 21st century fascism has avoided the grind.

Huh. It’s almost like oaths don’t mean anything. A families honor means nothing if you have enough money.

This kind of thing is why I think the founding fathers assumed dueling would play a part in keeping representatives honest.

That 's always my concern, HOW much money?

How many digits does there need to be in my bank account till I can toss family members under the bus with a smile?

How much money does it take to not care when children starve to death?

The language the press is using to describe this is complicit with letting the NAZIs win.
