At the risk of sounding like I’m minimizing the deaths of people who have died in terrorist attacks, if we cared about what actually kills people we’d ban cars and saturated fats.
These kinds of feel good safety blanket security laws haven’t made the US much safer as far as I can tell, only more oppressive. Hopefully Australia doesn’t give in just because two crazy assholes had to be pieces of shit.
