I’ve never played, but I have heard good things. Some people do find the writing to be a bit off though.
I quickly learned to mute the game and enjoy the amazing game design while listening to nice tunes. Great game to completely ignore the story of.

Loved this game, the main mechanic is really fun. It’s pretty short, too, my playtime is just over 4 hours completing all the levels.
it’s a fun game with a fun unique mechanic but it just runs out of steam towards the end. would recommend playing it but it makes you feel more creative stuff could’ve been done with it.
