People cheer every time something they don’t like gets censored, and then scoff and tell you you are just pro whatever-that-thing-was when you tell them why that is dangerous. People want 1984 to come true with all their heart and believe that censorship will always go their way while it is going their way.
Propaganda works so god damned well and it makes me sick. We live in Europe and I hear people parrot MAGA talking points here where they aren’t even relevant. That’s how well it works. We’re not even the target audience and common tradesfolk in Scandinavia are like hurr durr we should militarize our Mexican border, Russia did nothing wronk.
