Yes, that’s what that originally means. Wild that the right villianized being aware of the issues around you.
The right villianized the word without even understanding what it means. That’s why it became a meme to ask them to define “woke” and watch them not be able to answer.
I learned recently that the cart going haywire happens if it collides with a bee because for some reason bees have physicality to them but they cannot be affected by physics, so instesd of the bee getting pushed aside, the cart does, and because the cart is on a scripted path, it continues to get nudged out of control.
I don’t know if you made that up or not, but it sounds plausible.
