cops and OT grifting is supposedly insane. if every state, municipality, and county structure had to make public what portion of their total personnel budget was cop labor and what fraction of that was OT, it would blow fucking minds.

nobody else in the public sector gets OT, and certainly not to the degree cops do. and forget about doing your public sector job with public sector resources during off hours and collecting “moonlighting” fees.

cops have such a sweetheart deal for taking naps in their radio cars behind the abandoned kmart or the dead mall parking lot.
