You’ve never heard a fox then. They sound like a little girl being murdered. It’s horrible.
I have two species of foxes that I regularly shoo off my porch. They go “HhhhuuuuYak!”

They scream during mating season, so you may not have heard it. It is not something they run around doing regularly.
