    First off, I love it. Get this boy in more interviews.

    Second, the second half of his statement is interesting, “…but we don’t know if Egg survives yet.”

    Which makes me think that this may not be 100% “Dunk survives Summerhall”, but “Dunk survives the process of making dragons” or “Dunk survives the initial fire”. The “yet” to me says Dunk is alive, and the fate of Egg is unknown.

    I think George told part of the story of Summerhall, but not the full story. Like if the Hedge Knight story ended at the reveal of Egg as a Targaryen. That would be a surprise, but not the end of the story.
