Would it be a bad idea to use an FTN.5 Rimfire can for 32ACP or should I just step it up to the FTN.5 PCC can instead? The pressures for 32 don’t look that much different than 22LR but maybe there is something I’m missing.

Yeah I might be misunderstanding, just new to suppressors so I don’t even know what thread it is and what device if any I may need to attach to. Are you using the knurled thread protector as a heat set insert?
It’s 1/2 x28 for the ppk. The op9A uses an aluminum adapter for 1/2x28 to 5/8x24. Which is the printed threads of the can. It can also be fully printed in the OP9 or OP9-P
