As a German abroad I learned this valuable sentence from a person who claimed that’s the only German they know:
Ich habe eine heisse Kartoffel in meiner Lederhose
Somehow my German always gets better after a couple of beers.
Are you Dutch by any chance? Because, as a German, the same happens to my Dutch (which I can’t actually speak, and barely understad when sober) after a couple beers.
Good guess, haha!
It’s because you don’t focus on your correctness and you just let yourself speak more. It’s nearly universal.
Es ist strengstens verboten, toten Koyoten am Boden die Hoden zu verknoten.
Klar
Komm, lass uns einen saufen gehen!
We can speak english if you want
“Mit karte bitte” and then the rest is in english
Ich spreche kein Deutsch aber ich lerne gern.
