The Frigidaire sticker on the trunk was gold. The only way you could own a vehicle like this is ironically.
Yeah, but when he’s on point, he’s really on point. The Christmas special they did a few years ago on the VW Westfalia actually had me choking up. He’s a good writer.

I’m from Germany and old enough to remember the time this was first a middle class, then an affordable used car. And still all the sentiment of the video - except “because it’s not American” - resonates with me.
And the slowness. OMG, was it slow. The first VW van had the same engine as the Beetle and this one’s wasn’t much stronger. And still in the back.
